授業の方法
/Class Format
This course will expose students to vocabulary, concepts, and culture related to international business using the English language. This course will feature group activities, research projects, and oral presentations to allow students to use what they are learning in class. Course content will be taught using class discussion, group work, online homework, and listening comprehension activities.
授業の目的
/Class Purpose
Students will increase their vocabulary, be able to actively participate in group activities in English, and improve both their English public speaking skills and listening comprehension skills.  この科目は、経営学部ディプロマポリシー第4項「社会のグローバル化に対応して、国際社会の一員たる自覚を持ち、異文化圏の人々と交流するのに必要な言語ならびに文化に関する知識と素養を修得する」に関わっています。

By the end of the semester, students will be better able to participate in basic business practices such as group meetings, presentations, and researching information on business-related topics in English.

2 Weeks 2-4 Unit 9: Logistics Shipping, placing, and handling orders; discussion of the future of logistics
3 Weeks 5-7 Unit 10: Facilities Describing your place of work, making suggestions and recommendations; exploring the connection between office design and productivity
4 Weeks 8-10 Unit 11: Decisions Decision-making, negotiations; discussion of the science behind group decision making
5 Weeks 11-13 Unit 12: Innovation Presenting new ideas; discussion of personality type and innovation
6 Week 14 Gaming/Make-Up Session Covering material not covered in the previous class sessions/games in English if all material has been covered
