授業の方法 ／Class Format	演習
授業の目的 ／Class Purpose	演習の目的は，テーマに沿った研究をさらに進め，修士論文として完成させることである。その過程で，経済学研究科修士課程のDPに掲げる，「1.知識・理解：経済学・経営学に関する高度な専門知識を有する」、「2.思考・判断：経済学・経営学の学問領域の高度な研究方法をもって，自ら設定した課題を総合的に考察することができる」、「3.関心・意欲：修得した高度な専門知識を社会で応用することに関心があり，社会の発展に貢献したいと考えている」、「4.技能・表現：修得した高度な専門知識を社会に向けて的確かつ簡明に伝えることができる」を達成する。 大恐慌(Great Depression)と2007年以降の大収縮(Great Contraction)の比較を行う。 米国の所得格差(income inequality)を中間層の没落の観点から考察する。 移民の米国における賃金、雇用、財政に与えるインパクトを計量的手法で分析する。
到　達　目　標 ／Class Objectives	米国の経済成長と金融との相互依存をDSGEモデルにより研究し、経済政策の有効性を検討することができる。 米国中間層の没落の要因を①技術、②貿易、③政治の側面から理解することができる。 移民の米国に与える影響を計量的手法で分析することができる。
授業のキーワード ／Keywords	大恐慌、中間層（middle class）、所得格差（income inequality）　、移民
授業の進め方 ／Method of Instruction	毎回、計量経済学の習得とstataやmatlabのcodeを読み込む演習を行う。論文を中心に議論し、数式の展開も含め最先端のトピックを理解できるようにすすめていく。
履修するにあたって ／Instruction to Students	労働経済学、マクロ経済学及び計量経済学の基礎知識があることが望ましい。
授業時間外に必要な学修内容・時間 ／Required Work and Hours outside of the Class	課題となるテキストの通読が事前に必要である。　テキストを事前学習として目安として２時間読んでおく。 授業時に指定された課題を事後学習として１時間で解く。
提出課題など ／Quiz,Report,etc	重要なトピックについて数回の提出課題があります。
成績評価方法・基準 ／Grading Method・Criteria	提出課題の内容（100％）で評価する
