   Kobe Gakuin University is located at 135°east longitude, 3 kilometers northeast of Akashi, the city of the meridian. It stands on a bluff in Kobe's Nishi ward, adjacent to the city's university district. Near the university are located a number of educational facilities, such as the Akashi Planetarium, the Hyogo Prefectural Library and an outdoor activities center, all of which contribute to an ideal academic environment. Beyond the Akashi Straits, Awajishima (Awaji Island) is clearly visible. The world's longest suspension bridge, the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, was completed in the Spring of 1998. The university can be reached conveniently from the Okuradani interchange of Daini Shinmei Highway, which links Kobe and Osaka. Sannomiya, a leisure spot popular with students, is also close by.

Off-Campus Facilities

  Kobe Gakuin University has some grounds and a seminar house off the campus. Those facilities are used in classes, seminars and extracurricular activities. This is highly valued by the public for its openness to the local community.

Ground No. 4 Ground No.4
Located at 5 kilometers, in 1 hour's walk from the University, mainly used by the baseball team of the university and people in the community.
Ground No. 5 Ground No.5
Located at 1 kilometer, in 10 minutes' walk from the University. It consists of an athletic field and tennis court, mainly used in physical education or extracurricular activities, such as rubberball baseball, softball, and tennis.
Ground No. 6 Ground No.6
Located at 1.5 kilometers, in 15 minutes' walk from the University. It consists of an athletic field and a gymnasium of weightlifting, mainly used in extracurricular activities, such as athletics, American football, soccer, rugby, and weightlifting.
Seminar House The seminar house (Meitoku-Sou)
Located at Oku-cho, Okayama Prefecture, 2 hours and 30 minutes from the University by Japan Railway. Formerly it was “Meitoku Elementary School”, where Yumeji Takehisa (1884-1934), famous for painting of beautiful women's Portraits, was graduated from. It was renovated and is now fully used in extracurricular activities or seminar classes.
