授業の方法
/Class Format
This course will expose students to vocabulary, concepts, culture, and topics that will help increase speaking ability using a variety of methods such as: conversational English, public speaking, role playing, and debate. Course content will be taught using games, class discussion, and oral presentations.

Students will increase their vocabulary, English conversational ability, and improve their English public speaking skills.

By the end of the semester, students will be better able to use English language media, skim for documents for information in English, and formulate an argument in English.

1 Week 1 Introduction Students are introduced to the course and to each other.
2 Weeks 2-8 Technology and Education Using a game to learn about the viability of smartphone games as an educational tool; reading and discussions of the digital game economy
3 Week 9-15 Cooperation Using games to learn how to use language to cooperate with group members; discussions on how tasks can influence communication style
